At the end of the day, it is our job to know the difference between an en-dash and an em-dash, when the use of which typeface is appropriate, how to price and promote your book, and to make sure your project doesn't look like it just came off a haggard photocopier. (Unless, of course, that's the look you're going for, in which case it can be arranged.)
